We weren't super keen on visiting Playa Del Carmen or Cancun as we had heard that it was quite expensive and tourist-y. So we nipped straight down to Tulum - which was still expensive and tourist-y. Kassandra had been dying to see a cenote (a natural underground reservoir of water) so we made our way to Cenote Crystal and Gran Cenote. Cenote Crystal (pictured first) was a little paradise and Gran Cenote had turtles! We finished off the day by watching the sunset while sipping cocktails (a growing theme on our trip) and trying to ride home in total darkness. Apparently street lights don't always turn on in Mexico.
