So there are a couple of things that first spring to mind when we think of San Cristobal de la Casas. Food and wine. We had the best Falafel that we have ever eaten (in Mexico, who would have thought?) after being entirely sick of eating tortillas, beans and salsa for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hostel was a total winner (Posada del Abuelito if you're interested), and we found a sick little wine joint (La Vina de Bacco, again, if you are in the area). Of course we sealed the deal with a little mescal sippy sippy too.
