When we got to Puerto Escondido, we decided to take a two-week break from all of the moving about. We found ourselves a great little apartment on Airbnb which looked out over the little bay where we were trying to surf. Trying, meaning we were standing up on huge boards on very small waves. With close proximity to an incredible fruit and veg market, easy access to the surf, amazing tacos, and an overall relaxed community feel, it was easy to stay for the fortnight.
