Cuenca wasn't a breathtaking spot for us. But this may have had something to do with the time that we were there, which was the weekend. We are still getting used to the fact that places in South America shut down over the weekend, which is very different to how things are back in Australia. So we missed out on the Panama Hat Museum (which Kassandra was actually kind of upset about) and headed out of town to a place famous for it's markets, Gualaceo. OK so we actually slept in and missed the markets but we did get some pretty good grub from a very popular lady in the food market. She flipped a mean pancake and rocked a pretty wicked hat.
